Copying

Overview

The Library offers self-service copy machines in Library Annex I, HSS 101, and HSS 107.

Users are required to understand and follow SF State policies regarding copyright [http://www.sfsu.edu/~doit/policies.htm]. All copying/scanning must be completed fifteen minutes prior to closing.

Paying for Copies

Black and white copying in the Library costs eight cents (8¢) per page and must be paid for with the SF State ID (OneCard) or a Guest Card. Money can be added to SF State ID cards at one of three VTS (Value Transfer Station) by the front doors of Library Annex I or online with a credit card (https://web4.onlinecardoffice.com/sfsu/). Guest Cards can be purchased for $1 at VTS machines, after which value can be added.

Self-Service Copies

The Library offers self-service copy machines in Library Annex I, HSS 101 and HSS 107. Users must have a SF State ID (OneCard) or a Guest Card to use copiers.

Microfiche & Microfilm

Selected Microfiche and microfilm can be scanned to a file or printed using a SF State ID OneCard or a Guest Card in HSS 101 and 107. Microfilms need to be requested online and will be delivered to HSS 102 within 24 hours.

SF State students and faculty are given priority in the use of microfilm and microfiche copiers/scanners, and use of these machines is restricted to copying/scanning only. Use of the copiers/scanners may be restricted to thirty minutes or less during busy periods.

Copying machines and readers are self-service; instructions are provided on each machine. Further assistance is available in Distribution Services, HSS 102. All copying/scanning must be completed fifteen minutes prior to closing.

Color Copies

One self-service color copy machine is located in Library Annex I.
