Computer Sign-On
Overview
The Library uses a computer sign-on system on the computers in Library Annex I and Library @ HSS to ensure equitable access to computers. SF State students, faculty and staff sign on with their University ID number. Guest users sign-on with a guest ID distributed by the Library. Other affiliated users, such as members of Friends of the Library, can sign-on using their special borrower ID number.
Guest Users
There are 6 computers in Library Annex I for guest users to use up to 2 hours per day. Guest users must first register for a Guest Card and ID number at Distribution Services in HSS 101. A valid state photo ID or a passport is required. The Guest account is valid for six months from the registration date.
