Information for New Library Users
Welcome to the Library!
The J. Paul Leonard Library is located in the southeast part of campus map, adjacent to the central quad. Here in the J. Paul Leonard Library you will find a wealth of information including books, recordings, videos, DVDs, magazines, journals, newspapers and more. You can get familiar with the layout of the library by viewing the floor plans.
Your Library Card
Your OneCard/SF State ID is your library card. With it, you can check out books at the Book Check Out counter and use computer labs. You should also set up a Library PIN so that you can renew books, check on requested items, and access article databases from off campus.
Your First Trip
You've already got a paper due next week! To find books on your topic, you'll need to search the catalog for books. To find journal articles, select a database on your subject from the database subject list (or see the Finding Articles quick-guide).
