Studying in the Library
Overview
Due to the Library Building Project study spaces are subject to noise, especially on the west side of the building.
The Library offers a variety of study areas for individuals and small groups on a first come first serve basis. It is not possible to make advanced reservations. There are signs in each study area indicating the rules regarding noise levels, laptop and cell phone use. Food and drink, other than water, is not allowed in the Library.
The Library is aware that more group (and quiet) study space is needed and the new and renovated Library will include a large increase in study areas. In the meantime, the Library is working to provide additional study areas in the existing building, as we prepare for the new and renovated Library.
Group Study
