Computer Sign-On
Overview
The Library uses a computer sign-on system on the computers in Library Annex I and Library @ HSS to ensure equitable access to computers. SF State students, faculty and staff sign on with their University ID number. Friends of the Library, Alumni Association and other affiliated users who have registered with Circulation Services in HSS 101 are also recognized by the Sign-On system and can login using their special borrower ID number. Guest users sign-on with a guest ID distributed by the Library.
Guest Users
There are 6 computers in Library Annex I for guest users to use up to 2 hours per day. Guest users must first register for a Guest Card and ID number at Distribution Services in HSS 102 and Library Annex I. A valid state photo ID or a passport is required. The Guest account is valid for six months from the registration date.
