Research Workstations
Overview
There are almost 100 Internet only Research Workstations available in the Library. SF State students, staff and faculty can use these computers for up to 120 minutes per day after Signing-On with their University Identification Number. Members of the general public can use one of the Internet only Guest Workstations, after registering with the Library.
The only software on these computers is a web browser, and the MS Reader. No other software is provided. The MS Reader allows you to print but NOT edit MS Word and MS Powerpoint documents. A full suite of software is available in the Library computer labs.
