Computer Sign-On System

The Library Workstation Sign-On system allows users to access Research, Express and Guest workstations located throughout the Library by signing on with a valid ID number. The system monitors the length of time available for each user, thus ensuring equitable access to computers in the Library. While these Library computers are primarily for students, faculty, staff and SF State affiliates, a limited number of computers are available for anyone to use. Computer Sign-On System.

Library Online Catalog Computers

Anyone visiting the Library can use the InvestiGator computers to access the Library online catalog. These computers cannot be used for other purposes. Library Online Computers.

Printing in the Library

Printing is widely available. Black and white printing in the Library costs seven cents (7) a page, color printing cost varies. Large format and poster printing are also available. Printing.

Wireless Network

Wireless Internet access is available in most parts of the Library. Coverage is generally good in the study areas (wherever there are tables and chairs) and poor in the stack areas, where books are shelved. Wireless Network.
