Late Fines
Main Collection Books
25 cents for each item for each day overdue, up to a maximum of $25.00 for each item.
Fines accumulate on your record until they reach $5.00 or more, at which time you will be sent an invoice. If an invoice is unpaid after 30 days, your borrowing privileges will be revoked.

Overdue items
It is your responsibility to return or renew items you have checked out on or before they are due. We will send a courtesy reminder of overdue items to the e-mail or mailing address in the Library record 14 days after the due date. Non-receipt of the courtesy message does not excuse the fines. Be sure to login to your Library Account to ensure that your contact information is up-to-date.
Note: After logging into your Library Account you can also check the due dates and renewal options for the items you have checked out.
For more information, contact the Circulation Services Department.
Lost items
Notify Circulation Services as soon as possible if an item has been lost. The replacement charge depends upon the item that has been lost and will include a processing fee; most items will cost at least $60.00 (processing fee of $20.00 plus a replacement fee of $40.00).
Lost book invoices are automatically sent to users after a book is 40 days overdue. The replacement charge is refundable, minus the late fee, if the book is returned in good condition after the due date, within a one year period. The replacement charge may also be waived if the borrower provides a substitute copy of the missing item in excellent condition. Your university record may also be flagged, due to unpaid Library fines, preventing you from registering for classes and or from graduating.
