Library Cards
OneCard/SF State ID
In order to borrow items from the Library, and to take advantage of other Library services, you must have a valid Library Card. Generally, this is your OneCard/SF State ID.
New Students, Staff & Faculty
After you get your new OneCard/SF State ID, try to create a Library PIN for yourself to see if your account is active. If you cannot create a Library PIN, you will need to bring your OneCard/SF State ID to the Check Out Desk (Circulation Services), 1st Floor of the Library, to have your account activated.
Other Library Users
Some non-SF State users may be able to request a Special Borrowers card. For more information go to the Book Checkout / Registration counter on the 1st floor in the Library.
If Your Card is Lost or Stolen
If your OneCard/SF State ID is lost or stolen you should immediately contact the campus OneCard Office and Circulation Services in the Library. Special Borrowers should contact Circulation Services at the Library.
If You Move
If you change your address, you need to update your records with SF State. Log into your MySFSU account and select "Address Change". Otherwise, you may not receive important notices sent to you by the Library. Special Borrowers should contact Circulation Services at the Library.
