For Faculty: Classes & Workshops
Course Integrated Seminars
Faculty are invited to request a library session for upper division and graduate courses. Scheduling a session is an excellent way to help prepare students for assignments requiring research. Course integrated library seminars instruct students in the effective use of both electronic and print resources in relevant disciplines.
Requests need to be made in advance by contacting your Library subject liaison or telephoning the Reference office at 338-2187.
Academic Technology Workshops
Also housed in the Library, the department of Academic Technology offers workshops on Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as iLearn and on creating and enhancing instructional websites.
SF State Division of Information Technology: Computer Training
The DoIT Training Center, located in ADM 103, offers computer-related short courses and workshops to all SF State students, staff, and faculty throughout the year.
Information Competence Information
The Library Instructional Services programs can assist faculty in teaching these skills and in incorporating them into the curriculum.
