Getting Started
Use the Find Articles links to locate Articles and other types of information from scholarly journals, magazines, newspapers, etc. in a variety of electronic and print formats. For more information on how to get started see the Finding Articles Guide.

Find a Database
The Find a Database tool provides access to over 175 databases available through the Library. It will also help you identify which databases are most useful to search for different subjects.
QuickSearch
QuickSearch allows you to easily search multiple databases using a simple Google-like interface. QuickSearch is a good way to begin your research. (Powered by the MetaLib X-Server)
Electronic Journal List
Searchable and browsable list of the 24,000+ journals, magazines, newspapers, etc. available through the Library. (Powered by SFX)
Print Journals
The Library is working on a way to provide an easy search of all our print and electronic journals, newspapers, magazines, and other periodicals in the InvestiGator Catalog. Until this is available, you can do a Basic Search for a title, or an Advanced Search with the Location set to "Periodical Collection."
Citation Lookup Tool
Use this tool to find an article when you already have a citation (from a footnote, bibliography, or other source).
Google Scholar
Google Scholar provides a simple way to do a broad search for scholarly literature, including peer-reviewed papers, theses, books, abstracts and articles. Once it is setup properly it will indicate which items are available in the J. Paul Leonard Library.
Requesting Articles (Document Delivery Services)
If you are having trouble finding an article, or other type of item, in the Library you may be able to request it through one of the Library's document delivery services (also known as Interlibrary Loan).
