6.4 Guidelines for Use of Library Classrooms: 426A, 434
I. Purpose
Room 426A, the electronic classroom, is reserved for the use of presentations focusing on electronic resources with online demonstrations and/or hands-on activity. In additiion to the Instructor's station, there are 18 PC and 17 Macintosh workstations in the room with a seating capacity of 53.
Room 434 is a multi-purpose classroom with online demonstration capability. Standard configuration includes tables and chairs in rows facing south (blackboard), with wheelchair access to some student tables and instructor's area. Tables and chairs should be returned to standard configuration if room is re-arranged during use. Maximum seating capacity for room 434 is 49 persons.
Library classrooms 426A and 434 are reserved for use by the Library for library instruction sessions, e.g., regularly shceduled classes, seminars, and special presentations. These rooms may als be used for library meetings, workshops, vendor demonstrations, etc. Library faclty who are co-teaching or coordinating a library research course or workshop in conjuction with other SFSU departments/programs may also schedule the room for the length of the course/workshop.
