Library Building Project

Services During Construction (Fall 2008 - Fall 2011)

Service Locations

The Library building closed at the end the Fall 2008 semester. But Library, Academic Technology and Center for Teaching and Faculty Development services will continue to be available elsewhere on campus for the duration of the Library expansion and renovation project. Library services have moved to either the HSS building or to Library Annex I. Library faculty and staff are now in Library Annex II. The map below provides an overview of these new service locations.

Library Collections

The bulk of the books and other items in the circulating collections will continue to be stored in the Library building during construction. To get a book, or most other items available for borrowing, request the items you want using the the Library Catalog. You will be notified by email when the items are ready for pick up. Items are usually ready within 4 hours, except on Sundays and holidays. Note: Pick up your items at the Book Pickup & Checkout counter.

Current Periodicals and small Reference and Government Publication collections are out on open shelves in Library Annex I and can be checked out there. The majority of these collections, including microforms, are still housed in the Library building and can be requested as described above.
